When your keyboard is called the KYE Systems SlimStar 820 Solargizer Unique you probably have no freaking clue what you're in for. And frankly, we don't. So far as we can tell, this is a wireless Vista keyboard with solar cells to recharge without the need for constant plugging back in. But we could be completely wrong, this thing hasn't even been announced yet.

Like tube amps? Yeah, we do too. Want a simple mini-component tube-based home theater rig? No doubt it's going to cost you, but Philips new (and yes, unannounced) DVD Micro Theatre MCD908 doesn't just look hot and rip of the i-mate SPL's keypad, it also plays back media of its own (hence the eponymous "DVD"). Sounds like it only does DVD and limited image playback, although we did spy a Windows and DivX logo on there, so it might also line up with their home media streaming products as well. More as we get it.

It wouldn't be a mobile media product if it didn't start with a lower-case i (but then again if it's got wired Ethernet, it's not incredibly mobile anyway). Still, it looks like Axion's iPTV Anywhere Box and Wireless Monitor seeks to emulate the Sony LocationFree TV model streaming TV to your 7-inch wireless (or wired) Monitor, which also happens to have a USB port and SD, just in case. Yeah, more info as it's available.

Looks like SDI Technologies is about to extend its iHome line of iPod accessories into heretofore unexplored territory, with the company set to announce this bicycle sound system at CES in January. There's not a whole lot of details to report at the moment, but the device (assigned the iH85 designation in SDI's naming scheme) is apparently water-resistant and, from the pics, appears to provide some protection for your precious iPod, as well what may or may not be a wireless remote so you won't have to pull over and disassemble the whole unit every time you want to skip a track or crank the volume. Needless to say, there's also no word on pricing or availability, though that and some more specs should be revealed at the big show in Vegas.

It looks a lot like Icuiti's current model AV230 headset from what we can tell, but this latest version, the VR920 (not to be confused with their DV920), has not only the head tracking and audio of its successor, but apparently adds mic input as well. The sound you just heard was a hundred thousand WoW playing Ventrilo users pulling out their cards. Sorry, not yet folks, this is just initial info.

Yet another unannounced device tonight: Spark Technology's SwizzleStik (no c, damn you), a USB drive intended to make phone data management simple. We're assuming that's on the SIM end of things, but it's supposedly able to sync more than just your contacts, like your ringtones, music and photos. If this thing is just a microSD to USB adapter, we're gonna have to have a little talk with Spark.

We're seriously hoping that massive bulge on the lid isn't going to remain (for long), but we're just happy enough that someone -- namely Asus -- is prepping to launch a SideShow laptop. Granted, it'll be first thing next year alongside the Vista release at CES (i.e. when we were all expecting SideShow laptops to be revealed) but still. Expect PortalPlayer and other hardware "gadget" (widget, damn it!) businesses to hop on the gravy train all the way to auxiliary display-town.

Just in case you didn't get your fill of tall-ass monolithic 2001-lookin' portable audio device docks, Philips has a new cop on the beat: the not-yet-announced Docking Enterainment System DCM270. Besides playing CDs and docking your GoGear (or wait -- is that a YP-K3?), it'll even play nice with your iPod, something Apple's decidedly punier Hi-Fi can't attest to. More on it soon.

It's a solar cell! It's a VoIP phone! It's a USB stick? Convergence isn't just limited to cellphones and laptops, pallies, we're already seeing companies try to cram in functions and features to the new ubiquity: USB drives. Enter A-DATA's as yet unannounced Solar and VoIP Disks. The Solar does as you'd expect, collects power and displays how much storage you've got left (although we're not super hot on the idea of an unstable current pulsing through our flash drive); the VoIP, unlike the Vonage V-Phone, actually provides audio functionality for calling as well.

What's better than a quad-WiFi MIMO wireless router that does draft-N? How about one that does gigabit Ethernet as well. Buffalo's unannounced AirStation Nfiniti may look like a 14.4 modem throwback from the US Robotics school of design, but sometimes form doesn't necessarily have to match function. Look for it in the CES time frame (if not sooner).
